En serie platsspecifika förgängliga skulpturer i Gamlestaden, Göteborg. Lämnade ensamma i det offentliga rummet bröts skulpturerna sakta ned och blev borttagna av sin omgivning.

A series of place-specific ephemeral sculptures in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg. Left alone in the public space, the sculptures were slowly broken down and cleared away by the environment.

"This project is an exploration of human identity. Where and why does one perceive himself as an "ally", and what borders separate "us" from "others"? How do we identify "foes" in our community?

How do we build the frames that separate ourselves from the others? How do we become alienated in our own community?

The participants of this project will analyze, by different artistic languages and based on their personal experiences, how to fit within an alien community, and how to become one with it and adopt its features without losing one's own identity."
